ABOUT ME

BELIEF 1

You are capable of achieving more than you could possibly imagine.

BELIEF 2

If you control your mindset, you control your life.

BELIEF 3

It’s never too late to start down a new path, even if it feels like it is.

HI, I'M RILEY.

I'm so happy to meet you! I'm a Life/Writing Coach, and I specialize in helping writers go from feeling overwhelmed and hopeless at the thought of finishing their books to feeling confident and seeing real results.

As a writer myself, I know firsthand how daunting the idea of writing a book can be.

I spent years starting and restarting project after project, never finishing anything. It seemed like every time I tried to write, I'd hit a wall. I began to wonder if I was even capable of completing a full novel.

I fought this self-doubting cycle for years until I discovered the world of life coaching and IT. CHANGED. EVERYTHING!

I became a Certified Life Coach through The Life Coach School, and with the tools and strategies I learned there, I finished my first ever 100,000-word manuscript in 6 months!

MY STORY

From the time I was young, I spent years trapped in the same sad cycle when it came to writing.

Every time I had a new idea for a story, I would dive right into chapter 1, eager to bring it to life. By the end of chapter 2, I’d begin to feel lost, and it was rare that I’d finish chapter 3 before crumbling under the overwhelming weight of the idea of a full manuscript.

I was notorious for constantly dropping projects and moving on to new ideas.

I did that for 10 years, ditching every project the second it got challenging.

I went from never finishing a single story to completing my first full 100,000-word manuscript in 6 MONTHS. How? By learning the truth about what was holding me back & taking control of my mindset around writing.

ABOUT THE LOGO

When I set out to create a visual identity for Riley Lindhardt Coaching, I knew I wanted something bold and easily recognizable, but also something that represented both the writing and life coaching worlds.

It didn't want it to look like the traditional logo you see in the writer world, like a pencil or a book, because that felt like I was leaving out all of the amazing things mindset and behavior coaching bring to the table.

On the other hand, I didn't want something bland or generic, like you see with a lot of personal growth coaches—things like stick figures or a shooting star.

When I tell you brainstorming an idea took a long time, I mean it took weeks of constant back and forth with my graphic designer, Ashton Smith. After multiple meetings, we still hadn't made much progress on the symbol.

One evening, at the end of a session, we were about to call it quits for the day when a word popped into my head. It felt like it came out of nowhere, but I heard it, clear as day: Ripple.

I imagined a rock, thrown into water, setting a series of ever-expanding rings in motion, and hastily jumped up from my seat, grabbed the first thing I could find to draw on, and sketched a (rather poor) picture of what I was seeing in my head.

Instantly, we knew we had found our answer. Ashton created a digital first draft within minutes, and in a few days, the completed logo you see above was finalized.

Part of the reason I love this symbol so much is because I feel it truly represents the idea that the smallest steps we take toward our writing goals set something in motion. Over time, those steps go on to have powerful, lasting consequences. What starts as a quiet decision to commit to your book can develop into something bigger than you ever anticipateda life where you have become a brand new version of yourself and achieved things you only used to dream of.

I also love that, when you look at the logo, you might see a bunch of things.

Some see the rings of a tree. I love that interpretation. I think about how each layer symbolizes how we outgrow our own skin as we increase in strength, discipline, and skill by pushing past our comfort zones.

Others see a target, symbolizing the decision to finally aim for the version of your life that feels like a bullseye.

And maybe you see something different when you look at it. But whatever you see, I hope it ignites something within you.

I hope it reminds you that growth doesn’t have to be loud to be life-changing. That quiet decisions count. That it’s okay to start small. And that with enough consistency, intention, and heart, the work you put in now will carry you somewhere extraordinary.
